Carl's role as Technical Sales Engineer will involve him working within the Midlands region, responding to enquiries, identifying and executing sales strategies for target markets, creating sales opportunities, conducting site visits to ascertain requirements, producing system concept designs, calculations & costings, preparing quotations and presenting proposals to customers.
With his previous experience and impressive attributes, we believe Carl will excel in this role and will be an asset to the team.
"Prior to starting my new role as Technical Sales Engineer for Impact Air Systems I have also been part of the project management & commissioning department at Impact, since 2015.
Before joining Impact Air Systems in 2015 I had spent 18 years working in the print sector. Predominantly working for a commercial web printer in Leicester, where I started as an electrical engineer, before moving onto Engineering/Technical Manager, at which point I was responsible for both the day to day running of a busy maintenance department, as well as procurement & integration of new projects/installations across the site. It was during my time in this role where I first met the team at Impact Air, as we used their expertise for our trim waste extraction system across not only our web presses but also all the various finishing & converting machines we had on site.
I believe that the knowledge gained from my previous positions will be of great benefit in my new role at Impact, as I also look to take this experience into other industry sectors".
